Licensing
Licensing is the process by which a registered Music Together teacher or the employing organization becomes authorized to operate an independent Music Together program as a school or business. The licensee is often referred to as a "center director." A license allows the center director to use both the Music Together trademark, it's award-winning artwork, and the curriculum in classes with parents and children.
Music Together offers trademark licenses to individuals and organizations who wish to bring the program into their community. The licensing program allows Music Together to establish and maintain its standards of quality and can support the creative individuality and growth of each teacher and center director. Licensing enables Music Together to oversee the following:
• its comprehensive initial teacher education, as well as workshops, programs, and materials offered for further growth and study;
• the use of standardized materials in all Music Together classes;
• licensees’ adherence to the trademark use and program guidelines detailed in the center director manual which is given to new licensees and periodically updated;
• a Music Together network of interaction and communication which supports and educational business growth of teachers and centers.
