Enjoy this lively clip from our first French-Canadian song, “V’là l’bon vent.” In French-speaking areas of Canada, such as Québec, the phrase “Voilà le bon vent” (“Here is the good wind”) is shortened with contractions to “V’là l’bon vent.” The rest of the lyrics translate to “My sweetheart calls me / My sweetheart waits for me.” Our recording features NYC-based jazz violinist Sara Caswell and Canadian jazz singer (and Music Together teacher!)
